February Customer of the Month: Jackson Outdoors

Jackson Outdoors is a new, family-owned and operated business in Marshville, NC owned and operated by Robert Jackson, his wife Angela Jackson, and their son Luke Jackson. Their idea for opening a hunting supplies store in the quaint town of Marshville started after shopping around and doing research at different hunting supply stores for a tree stand all throughout North Carolina. They would talk to the owners and ask how long they had been open for and they’d always hear how they’d been open for 30 or more years. This inspired them to take the leap and start strategizing a business plan for their very own outdoor store. Luke Jackson, their son, assisted them in not only the brick-and-mortar store, but getting their online store up and running. Jackson Outdoors has been open now since April 2023 and has had a constant flow of new and returning customers. Robert has always had a passion for not only hunting and fishing but just being outside, enjoying mother nature. Since he was a boy, he has always enjoyed being outdoors and instilled the same morals in his children at an early age. When the other local feed store in Marshville closed in 2023, the owners asked if Jackson Outdoors could pick up Joy so their customers could still get it. The Jacksons agreed and have had great success with the food. “Our customers say it cleared up their dogs’ allergies. One even said that Joy helped relieve his dog's eczema,” says Angela. She has even started feeding her Poodles our Joy Special Meal. The Jacksons are happy to serve the Marshville community and more with everything they need to enjoy the great outdoors.
